Energize a weapon to use it in battle. Meet certain conditions to enable use of a hero's weapon.
Although weapons look different for each hero (hammers for Berserker, bows for Ranger, etc) they can be traded and the image reflects the Hero wielding their weapon. Each weapon has a unique effect, and only one character can have such an effect.
There are rare, epic, legendary and artifact weapons. Some townsfolk gift artifact weapons in the late game.
Energize: When a monster exactly range 2 from you is attacked by another hero or ally.
Deal 1 damage (target an adjacent monster)
Energize: when a hero draws a fate card with a damage effect of -2 or lower.
Weaken 2 (Range 3) each target in a large hex shape
Energize: when a hero or ally is adjacent to 2 other characters at the end of their turn.
Create 2 barriers (Range 3)
Energize: when a monster is defeated by an attack that deals 4 damage more then current health.
Create 6 gold piles in random hexes within range 2.
Absorb each adjacent gold pile.
Energize: when a hero or ally in range 5 or more from you is attacking.
Leap 5 (Must target a hex within range 3 of another hero or ally)
Energize: when a hero takes 6 or more damage from a single attack.
Create 3 heal shrooms (target 3 random characters and create a heal shroom in empty hexes adjacent to each).
