This mission helps players learn how to play and cooperate. At first, players only have the dash ability, but after pushing Peryll out of the tavern receive an additional ability to deal with incoming ogre enemies.

Party members will all have their dash skill card replaced with a new class-specific ability. In this scenario, ogres are attempting to blow up the bridge using lava explosives. Have fun pushing enemies into the pits around the bridge to instantly down them, but try to avoid getting heroes pushed off too.

An ogre archer successfully launches an arrow piercing the Brightshard with dark energy. Chirp, the town pet, alerts you to danger at the gates.
Party members will all have 3 skill cards, which is the maximum a hero can carry, to complete this mission. The two allies, Evelyn and Zihao, will skip their turns until you interact with them. After that, they'll begin fleeing towards the gates to escape. You notice the destroyed caravan is from the brightstone mines. Zihao and Evelyn must have been receiving a shipmen tof brightstone for their smith and workshop when they were attacked.
Interact with townsfolk to remove frightened status
